Electrical trunking needs to be sealed where it basses through the boundary of a fire rated compartment, i.e. a wall or floor. The can be achieved by either using fire coated batts or fire pillows. Fire pillows can be removed and reinstalled simply allowing new cables to be run. Fire pillows are stuffed in to the trunking where it passes through a compartment boundary. When fire breaks out these pillows expand to produce a tight seal, preventing the spread of fire for a specified period. Bellow is a list of products we regularly use to provide these services.
