It is the policy of Ansec (UK) Limited to comply in full with all the legal obligations that relate to the health, safety and welfare at work of all our employees and to take all reasonably practical measures to further improve their working conditions.
In particular Ansec (UK) Limited will:
Provide and maintain equipment and machinery that is safe and without risk to health.
Ensure safety and the absence of risk to health in connection with the use, handling and storage of articles and substances.
Provide and maintain working environments and all means of access to and egress from which are safe and without risks to health.
Provide such information, instruction and training as is necessary to ensure the health and safety at work of all its employees.
Ansec (UK) Limited appreciate that this part of our policy cannot be implemented without the full co-operation and support of all our employees and we would therefore urge everyone to play a full and active part in both effecting and developing this policy.
The Ansec (UK) Limited also accepts that it has a duty, so far as is reasonably practicable, to both ensure the health and safety of all persons who may visit the various sites on business and to protect the public from dangers arising from the site work.
The Ansec (UK) Limited recognises that the industry is inherently dangerous but will not accept that accidents and ill health are an inevitable part of work.
Ansec (UK) Limited will take positive steps to promote and encourage safety awareness at all our sites.
The Ansec (UK) Limited will make adequate resources available to implement safety policy in full and will appoint independent safety consultants as necessary to assist with the monitoring of this policy.
Our policy will be kept under review and revised as necessary.
Finally, Ansec (UK) Limited would welcome any suggestions that would advance and further the objectives set out in this document.
